Who Benefits from NFRC Membership?

  • Window, door, and skylight manufacturers who want to stay on top of the latest rating methodologies.

  • Utilities that run energy efficiency rebate and other incentive programs and want to be assured of a return for their investment.

NFRC is expanding its reach and growing fast. Over the last several years, membership has more than doubled; while participation in NFRC's rating and labeling system has almost tripled.

Over the next few years, NFRC has committed over $600K to researching new and better rating methodologies for energy performance of building technologies. New rating and certification procedures are under development for products and technologies such as fenestration attachments; non-residential fenestration systems; tubular daylighting devices; garage doors; and dynamic glazings.

What's more, NFRC dues are dramatically discounted in all membership categories other than fenestration manufacturers and suppliers to encourage participation buy all stakeholders.   We value all voices -and hope for balanced contribution to the growth of our organization!
